Wallace E. Conner of Chester Springs.

Wallace E. Conner, 87 of Chester Springs, died Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at home.

He was the husband of the late Marian L. Downing Conner.

Born August 26, 1927 in West Chester, he was the son of the late Leon L. Conner and the late Adelaide Mattson Conner.

After high school, he worked at Wyeth, Inc. in West Chester.

Wallace joined the US Army and served during WWII. After his honorable discharge, he became a self-employed painting contractor for 50 years.

He is survived by his sister, Thelma C. Phipps of Lionville; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and his special lady friend, Liz Moran of Chester Springs.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Leon L. Conner, Jr., sister, Marie C. Turpin and nephew, Thomas J. Phipps III.

Services and Interment will be private.
