Unlike many funeral homes that rely on an unrelated third-party crematory, DellaVecchia families have access to our privately owned crematory here in West Chester. Chester County Crematory, LLC is under common ownership with our funeral home and is dedicated exclusively to the families we serve, allowing us to maintain direct oversight and continuity of care throughout the cremation process.

FUNERAL SERVICE

A funeral service is a special time for family and friends to comfort one another, begin to find healing and celebrate a life. Whether you choose burial or cremation, you can hold a gathering to honor your loved one. We are happy to provide a more traditional ceremony or something completely unique. MEMORIAL SERVICE

Just like a funeral service, a memorial service is a time to remember your loved one. This can be held shortly after death or weeks later, with or without your loved one physically present. What’s important is that it creates a time and a place for family and friends to gather together and support one another, share memories and pay their respects. We can hold a memorial service at our funeral home, the final resting place, or other venue.

BURIAL

A casket burial is a service with many options you can choose from. We can provide you with a wide range of options to help you make a selection specific to your needs; a visitation, viewing or wake with a closed or open casket; a funeral service at our funeral home, church or other venue and a graveside service at a cemetery. You can choose whether you’d like a public or private service or a combination. It is entirely up to you how you wish to pay your respects.

We can assist you in creating a custom design or a design to match an existing monument. Furthermore, we offer onsite engraving of existing monuments and can provide you with details concerning cemetery regulations.

CREMATION

Cremation is a popular option for many people for a wide variety of reasons. You can have a traditional funeral service before a cremation or a memorial service at any time with or without the urn present. You can keep the urn, scatter the cremated remains or have the urn buried in a grave or columbarium. When choosing a cremation, we’re here to offer you a meaningful ceremony.
