DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home provides our families with access to Chester County Crematory, LLC, a privately owned crematory located in West Chester, PA and under common ownership with our funeral home.

Chester County Crematory is dedicated exclusively to individuals entrusted to the care of DellaVecchia. This allows us to maintain direct oversight and continuity of care throughout the cremation process rather than relying on an unrelated third-party crematory.

A TRADITION OF LOCAL CREMATION CARE

DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home has served families in the West Chester community since 1875.

On June 11, 2009, we became the first and only funeral home in West Chester to open a privately owned crematory dedicated to the families we serve.

Today, our private crematory provides DellaVecchia families with the reassurance of knowing where their loved one is being cared for, who is responsible for their care, and where the cremation takes place.

WHY OUR PRIVATE CREMATORY MATTERS

Not every funeral home that offers cremation services has access to its own privately owned crematory. Some funeral homes must transfer individuals entrusted to their care to an unrelated third-party crematory for the cremation to take place.

DellaVecchia families have access to our private West Chester crematory, allowing us to maintain direct oversight throughout the cremation process.

CANA CERTIFIED CREMATORY OPERATORS

All of our crematory operators are CANA Certified Crematory Operators through the Cremation Association of North America.

Professional training, established procedures, and careful oversight help us provide every individual entrusted to our care with the dignity and respect they deserve.

IDENTIFICATION & CONTINUITY OF CARE

Maintaining positive identification throughout the cremation process is one of our highest priorities.

We follow comprehensive identification procedures designed to maintain the identity of each individual throughout every stage of our care, from the time they are entrusted to us through the completion of the cremation and return of the cremated remains.

Because Chester County Crematory is dedicated exclusively to DellaVecchia families, we are able to maintain direct oversight and continuity of care throughout this process.

ON-SITE REFRIGERATION

Our crematory has on-site refrigeration, allowing individuals entrusted to our care to remain securely within our facilities when refrigeration is necessary.

This provides another level of continuity and reduces the need to rely on unrelated outside facilities during the cremation process.
