Ralph and I worked together at Center for a Livable Future. Although our time together was limited, what I remember most was his ability to inspire through communication and action, interest in getting to know others, ability to treat everyone equally and lend a helping hand -- even if it meant offering a ride home from the office in a snowstorm. The life you led inspires so many of us. My thoughts are with the Loglisci family.

With life and death being part of a never ending journey, Ralph's amazing journey continues. So many will be graced by his warmth, generosity, genuineness, humor and honesty. They will be as insanely lucky in their gain as we are so deeply saddened by our loss. We can't hold back a love and benevolence as pure as Ralph's, however painfully we wish he could stay. He must go on -- his journey has to continue. I believe his spirit will never stop adding energy and light to the work and friendships we all hold dear, and Ralph shall always remain the gift that keeps on giving. Love you man.

Ralph, we're deeply saddened to lose you. You lived your life with such elegance, commitment and compassion. I learned so much from you about the reality of PR and am lucky to have shared many fun meals and laughs during our years together at Wholesome Wave.

Our deepest condolences to the Loglisci family, please know your son was a terrific colleague and an important part of the movement to change the food system in our country.

With sympathy,
Malini

I have incredibly fond memories of Metro North train rides with Ralph from Wholesome Wave's office in Bridgeport. He was a joy to have around--generous with his time, his humor, and his passion for the food movement. He will be missed terribly.

Like many others here at WBAL-TV, I so enjoyed working with Ralph. He was funny, creative, kind...just one of those wonderful people who made life for those around him a little better. And from reading what he went on to do after he left, here...he clearly made the world a better place for many.
I worked on the story about his weight loss...we were all in total amazement at Ralph's dedication to it...his desk was always covered with Medifast products, and he informed me which ones were worth trying, which ones not so much!
He was simply, a good man who tried and succeeded at living a good life. My sincere condolences to his family for losing him far too soon,..the world is a lesser place without him.

I was so sorry to hear about Ralph passing. He was a very special friend -- one of the first who welcomed me to my new home in Baltimore. We spent a lot of time together those first couple of years before he married and moved away to start another chapter of his life. We did what 30somethings do in the city -- we went to movies, festivals, dinners, bars, and even a trip to NYC. To me, Ralph was the mayor of Federal Hill -- he seemed to know everyone and everyone seemed to know him. He was fun to be around. Charming with a great sense of humor -- he just was all about fun and love and laughter.

I first met Ralph in 1997 in West Palm Beach when he was a news producer and I was new to the business. Ralph took me under his wing proved to be one of the most genuinely caring, loyal and intelligent people I've known. During a particularly challenging event in my life he showed his unwavering support. I'm so sad that he's left us, and so proud at what a remarkable legacy he has left.

Tragic to see one of the foremost, clearer voices in our field be gone. May his family feel that Ralph's body of work will forever make him a prescient presence among them and among all of us.

I was just telling some coworkers about Ralph and how one of my best and most memorable runs was with him and another friend up in Ithaca. He was excited to show us the route that included passing sheep and horses. I was sorry to hear of his accident and missed an opportunity to visit him in the hospital in SF. I am very sorry for your loss.

I am so terribly sorry to learn of Frank's passing. I only worked with him briefly (on antibiotic overuse in animal agriculture), but his warmth and passion for the work shone through. My sincere condolences to his family.
