James C. Raimato

James C. Raimato, 83, of West Grove, died Friday, October 9, 2009 at his home.

He was the husband of the late Eleanor Patrone Raimato.

Born in Kennett Square, PA, he was the son of the late James G. Raimato and the late Mafalda Musischi Raimato.

James was a graduate of Kennett High School and an honorably discharge World War II Navy veteran.

He worked as a truck driver for over 30 years for Anchor Motor Freight.

He was parishioner of Assumption BVM Church in West Grove, a 3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus St. Pius X Council #3858 of West Grove, PA, and also a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus Chester County Assembly #1873.

James is survived by his son, James G. Raimato of West Grove, PA, grandchildren, James J. Raimato and Dina M. Schot both of Kennett Square, PA, brother Mario Raimato and wife Flossie, brother Frank Raimato and wife Carol, and sister Marie McMillian and husband Hugh all of Kennett Square, PA.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his daughter,the late Anita M. Raimato and brothers, the late Robert Raimato, the late Henry Raimato and the late Michael Raimato.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass, 11:00 am, Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at the Assumption BVM St. Mary's Chapel, 107 West Evergreen St. West Grove, PA

Visitation 9:30 am - 11:00 am Wednesday at the chapel.

Interment will be private.
