I just learned about this. Back in the 1960s Wally and Marian, their Collies and my family (Albert and Jean) spent many wonderful summer vacations at Lake Wallenpaupack in the Poconos. He was my favorite uncle. He and my Aunt Marian were full of fun. I'm sorry for your loss.

To those closest to "Uncle Wally", you have my most sincere and deepest sympathy. I was so very fortunate to have "Uncle Wally" in my life. His caring, compassion, and selflessness have left such a profound impact on me, and my life. We can all take comfort in knowing that he lived his life to the fullest, on his terms, and always with a smile and a sparkle in his eye. He served this country honorably for all of us, he made us laugh, and most importantly, he left us with wonderful memories and lessons in life for which we will all be the better for. They will remain with me always.
