It is with a heavy heart that I write these condolences to Rene's family. I had the great pleasure of sharing many mornings and afternoons with Rene in the BVA garden. At the top of that hill we shared laughter, smiles and occasional frustration over the ever-appearing weeds. He happily supported BVA's education staff in last minute program set up and random requests. I always looked forward to seeing Rene after the long winter when it was time to start planning for the spring garden. He was one of the kindest, most generous souls I have ever known. He will be greatly missed and long remembered. I wish you all much strength at this time.

What a great guy! I am so bless to know him and enjoying his tenor voice. God bless all of you and I am sure he and Pat are looking down on all of you.
