Patrick C. McGill

Patrick C. McGill, 81 of West Chester, PA died Friday July 31, 2015 at his home.

 

He was the husband of Bridie McMonagle McGill 

 

Born July 12, 1934 in Aighe, County Donegal, Ireland, he was the son of the late James McGill and the late Mary McGlinchy McGill.

 

Patrick enjoyed playing cards and fishing. He was a writer of poetry and taught Irish Gaelic. He served in the Army

 

In addition to his wife he is survived by his children James McGill, Ann McGill, Margaret  Williamson and her husband Joseph, Bried Perry and her husband James, Michael McGill, grandchildren, Megan, Danielle, Joseph, Jake, Keri and Caitlin. Also survived by his brother, James "Jimmy" McGill, sisters, Annie "Nancy" Harte, and Margaret "Peggy" Brown.

 

He was preceded in death by brothers, Charles McGill, and John McGill.   

 

Relatives and Friends are invited to his visitation 7-9 pm Monday August 3, 2015 at the DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc 410 North Church St. West Chester, PA  610-696-1181 www.DellaFH.com  and also from 10-11am Tuesday August 4, 2015 at SS Peter & Paul Church 1327 East Boot Road West Chester with his Funeral Mass starting at 11am. 

 

Interment with military honors will be 11:30am Wednesday August 5, 2015 at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville PA.
