Jake was a kind person and his bar was a great place to spend time with friends and
co-workers. It has been many years since I've seen him but I remember his smile.
He was a West Chester icon and I know he will be missed.

Jake was a true friend to our family. I knew him for forty years and he was always fun to see and trade stories with. I know he was proud of his family and we always remember him with a wide smile. I am sure he is heaven running the place.

So very, very sorry to hear of Jake's passing. He was an incredible person who was a joy to be around. We spent many happy hours in Jake's Bar many years ago, often in his company. We have many fond memories of him! He's celebrated many important moments with us and we hope to get into West Chester soon to honor his memory at Jake's.

While my husband and sons knew Jake for many years, I did not meet Jake until a year ago. In that short time I realized what a wonderful person he was and how important his family was to him. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
