Mike always had a smile or laugh that he would share with everyone. I will always remember the times we spent together, going to sports shows, boat dealers, fishing and just talking and having fun. It is still very difficult for me to realize this is not just a bad dream. Miss you MUGZEEEEEEE!!!!

Mike will be missed by many friends and family, I got to meet Mike back in the 80's when his son Mike began racing. Young Mike join the fast forward racing team, where a number of us traveled all over the country to compete in cross country racing. Big Mike and Big Bruce Alleman lead the pit crew year after year after year and they helped us racing and become some of the best, Mike was always on top of everything making sure in the pits we had our tanks full of gas tires changed get fresh goggles gloves and a drink of water, and no matter how bad things were for our machines, the Mike always had a smile on his face, and got us back out on the course, once again I will always remember Mike and we will all miss him

Phyllis,
I am so sorry for your loss. While I know there is never a right time or the right words when someone exits stage left. Just remember, it is the rare individual that gets to go doing something that they love. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Stay strong
Ron

I could write a book and tell alot of stories on what Mike has done for me and shown me through out the years . I got my first deer in the mts hunting with Mike, Michael, & Uncle Ron . Mike always took me like a second son to Pine Grove & the Pagoda when Michael , Chad , Bear and I raced 4 wheelers when we were in our teenage years growing up .He had a big heart of gold for those that knew him such as me . I am thankful he was, apart of my life I have so many great memories growing up with the Kowal family . My thoughts and prayers go out to you Phylis, Michelle and Michael if you need anything please call. Love you Big Mike R.I.P. until we meet again thanks for evertything those memories will never be forgotten .

Mike had a big presence, big voice, and big laugh - he will be missed by many. I always enjoyed hanging around before and after fishing and talking with him and the "quick" phone calls from him that would easily become an hour or more just talking about anything and everything. He was a great guy!
