Lynda A. DeBenedetta-Barr

Lynda A. DeBenedetta-Barr of Chadds Ford, 67, passed away peacefully on the evening of Friday, September 25, 2015 at Neighborhood Hospice Inpatient Unit in West Chester, after a nearly 15 month long battle with Pancreatic Cancer. She is at rest now God in Heaven.

Lynda was born on April 22, 1948 in Philadelphia, to the late Charles & Gloria DeBenedetta.

She graduated from Marple Newtown High School, class of 1965.

She worked in the Insurance Industry for over 30 years.

Lynda gave yearly to the local blood drives and selflessly donated her spare time to help children and others less fortunate.

Lynda loved her friends and family more than anything else in the world and enjoyed vacationing up and down the Carolina coastlines with them.  

Beloved wife, mother and grandmother, she is survived by her loving husband Joseph C. Barr and her two sons and their families. Her oldest son Mark A. Ciarmello, his wife Nicole, and their two children Grace & Jackson, along with her youngest son Ronald A. Ciarmello, his fiancee Andrea May Marino and their daughter Trinity.

Relatives and Friends are invited to her visitation from 9:00 am - 11:00 am Friday, October 2, 2015 at the DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc. 410 N. Church St. West Chester, PA 19380, 610-696-1181, www.DellaFH.com; followed by her Funeral Service at 11:00 am.

Interment will be held in Green Mount Cemetery, West Chester.
