To the Herley Family,
Lou's obituary was recently posted to an e-mail chain for the IRS 25 Year Club and I was saddened to hear of his passing. I knew Lou when he was an instructor at the Mid-Atlantic Training Center in Philadelphia and later when he was a manager in the Wilmington District. He was a funny guy who always kept everything light. Please accept my deepest condolences.
It appears Lou may have had MS, a crippling disease which has also rendered my older sister to a nursing home for more than a dozen years.
