Those of us who work at the West Chester Public Library are very saddened to learn that Lida has left this life for her heavenly home. Lida was a passionate and voracious reader, and she was very proud of her reading and her association with the library. She often told us she had been coming to the library since she was ten years old. We will miss her daily visits to the library, and her conversations and friendship. I myself often saw Lida sitting outside her house, reading a book and keeping an eye on the neighborhood. Our deepest sympathy to her family.
