I was shocked and heartbroken when I saw Laura's name in the BSU Alumni newsletter. She, Kim Quick & I were best friends our early years at Bloomsburg - the three musketeers of our dorm! I have such fond memories of her and regret not staying in touch and/or reconnecting, a reminder to all of us to "carpe diem" as it's later than it's ever been. Sending all my love, light & peace to her family and to all who, likewise, had the honor and pleasure of knowing such a sweet, smart and lovely lady.

I cannot even express in written words how deepen saddened I am by this news and the cause of Laura's demise. She lived her purposeful life by always being that gentle caring soul with family always her priority. She touched so many lives with her teaching, leadership and humble ways. Heaven just received an angel.
