Kathleen M. Wiley (1942-2016)

Kathleen Wiley (nee Hall), 73 of West Chester, died Thursday, April 28 from complications of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

She was the wife of the late Herbert H. Wiley Jr.

Born May 5, 1942 in West Chester, she was the daughter of the late Paul C. Hall and the late Philamena Ferri Hall of Marshalton.

She graduated from Downingtown High School in 1960. She worked for many years as a legal secretary in West Chester, while also supporting her husband’s automotive business and raising a family.

Later in life, she enjoyed golfing and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Deborah, Steve and Lisa; their spouses Jim, Dawn and Greg; her five grandchildren, Cameron, Cole, Andrew, Lily and Brendan.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Herbert H. Wiley, III, who died in 1997.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 from 9:00 am- 10:00am at St. Agnes Church, 233 W. Gay St. West Chester, PA 19380; followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:00am.

Interment will be at St. Agnes Cemetery for immediate family at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 527 Plymouth Road, Suite 415 Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462.
