So sorry to hear of Mr. Utts passing. He was a teacher to both myself and my husband at Edgewood in the 60's. His family is in our hearts and prayers.

I was one of the many fortunate students to have had Mr. Utts as my history teacher at Edgewood High School in the 70's. I have many fond memories of his teaching style incorporating games etc. I never take for granted what a wonderful group of teachers we all had there, among the finest, Mr. Utts. My deepest sympathy and your loss.

Suzanne, I only remember meeting Chuck once, in the '60's. He drove his Mom & aunts to visit us in Lakewood OH when my Grandma, Georgia Sennett Kacur lived with us. I remember he was very nice. I am sorry for your loss.

Thank you Joanne. Uttsy was a wonderful person and he was generous about giving his time to take Pearl to see her sisters. I probably will be in Uniontown sometime this summer--late summer--to bury his ashes. I'm hoping to see Barbara Reynolds Robbins and Linda Collins, Susan & Mary McCarthy and maybe others while I am there.

Dear Utts family, my prayers of comfort and peace are with you...Your Dad always had a smile, a graciou and gentle manner any time we met. He will be missed. Of course I have not been in touch so I was surprised to read of his passing.
