Dorothy A. "Dolly” Pizii of West Chester.

Dorothy A. "Dolly” Pizii, 87 of West Chester, PA died Friday May 22, 2015 at Neighborhood Hospice Inpatient Unit in West Chester.

She was the wife of the late William J. Pizii.

Born August 6, 1927 in West Chester, PA she was the daughter of the late Nicola Saccuto and the late Angeladea Bruni Saccuto.

Dolly had starting working as an operator for Bell Telephone Co. in 1945 for 13years and went on to retire as a Senior Field Clerk in 1986.

She was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Church in West Chester and volunteered for many years at the Italian Social Club of West Chester. Dolly enjoyed doing puzzles and especially loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter Mar-Lyn Pizii Hughes of Newark, DE. Son James F. Pizii of West Chester; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and her sister Elizabeth Panetti of West Chester.

She was preceded in death by her six sisters, one brother and her grandson Chip Hughes. 

Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass, 11:00 am Friday May 29, 2015 at SS. Peter & Paul Church 1325 Boot Rd., West Chester, PA 19380. Visitation will begin at 10am at the Church.

Interment will be at St. Agnes Cemetery in West Chester.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Neighborhood Hospice 795 E. Marshall St., Suite 204 West Chester, PA 19380.
