Charles W. "Chuck" Utts III of West Chester.

Charles W. "Chuck" Utts III, 78 of West Chester, PA died Thursday May 12, 2016 at Neighborhood Hospice Inpatient Unit in West Chester.

He was the husband of Suzanne McCarthy Utts for 48 years.

Born December 17, 1937 in Connellsville, PA he was the son of the late Charles W. Utts, Jr. and the late Pearl Sennett Utts.

He was a current member of Christ Community Church in West Chester. Prior to moving to West Chester he lived in Harrison City, PA and was a member of Calvary Assembly of God in Irwin, PA.

Chuck taught school for over 40 years in Edgewood High School and Woodland Hills High School. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates and Penguins fan.

In addition to his wife he is survived by daughters, Rachel Langan (Mark) of West Chester, PA and Amanda Power (Tim) of Yardley, PA, son, Daniel Utts (Dayna) of Columbiana, OH, 9 grandchildren, brother-in-law, Stephen McCarthy (Jean) of Houston, TX

Relatives and Friends are invited to his visitation on Monday, May 16, 2016 from 9:00 am - 10:00 am at DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc., 410 North Church Street, West Chester, PA 19380; followed by his Memorial Service at 10:00 am.

Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Neighborhood Hospice, 795 E. Marshall St., Suite 204, West Chester, PA 19380.
