Yvonne Polidore

Yvonne Polidore 83, of West Chester, passed away on Friday September 24, 2021, at Sunrise Assisted Living of Exton.

She was born to the late Victor and Valentine Salotti Savige on March 14, 1938, in Yeadon, PA.

Yvonne graduated from The Academy of Notre Dame in 1956.

She married Albert Polidore of Philadelphia in 1960 at the Sacred Heart church in Havertown, PA. They had met working in the same insurance company, and they used to take the train together.

After raising her children Yvonne went back to work. She worked in retail for many years, but she really enjoyed her time as a teacher’s assistant at the West Chester Playschool. After retirement, she enjoyed spending time at their house in Cape May, NJ, reading, crafting, gardening, and volunteering at the Palm tree consignment shop.

She is survived by her three children Michael, David and Suzanne, as well as 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

She is predeceased in death by her husband Albert and her grandson David Jr.

Funeral Services and Interment will be private.
