William 'Nic' Nicolini
Obituary
William 'Nic' Nicolini, 97, of Glen Mills, PA, passed away peacefully in his sleep on October 20th, 2025. Born November 2, 1927, in Toms River, NJ, he was the son of the late Carlo and Mary Nicolini and brother to Reno(Mary).
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 46 years, Betty DeMarco Nicolini.
After high school Nic joined the Army where he spent some of his service playing football. He had the honor of playing for the Queen of Denmark.
He attended Georgia Tech In Atlanta and earned his degree in engineering. During his freshman year he played football for Georgia Tech.
After graduation he joined the Air Force Reserves where he had the rank of Lieutenant.
He had a long career at General Electric and worked as a Electro - Mechanical Engineer designing reentry systems for the Aerospace division of the US Military.
He enjoyed gardening and his yard always had beautiful flowers and delicious vegetables. When he wasn't gardening he enjoyed traveling and watching sports.
Nic is survived by his children, Roy(Kathy) of Exton, Claire of Pensacola, FL, Robert(Deanna) of Downingtown, 4 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 5 granddogs.
Services and Interment will be private.
