W. Edward Frazer, Jr.

William Edward Frazer, Jr (Ted) passed away July 24 at Waverly Heights in Gladwyne PA. Ted leaves behind his loving and devoted wife of 63 years Barbara George Frazer, daughter Elaine F. Colvin (Jeff), grandchildren Noah, Sterling, and Landon Colvin, and sister Gail Frazer. He was preceded in death by his son William Edward Frazer III (Teddy), sister Joan F. Fouracre, and parents William Edward Sr and Eleanor Frazer.

Ted grew up in Penn Valley PA, and graduated from Lower Merion High School and Penn State University. He was in the ROTC program at Penn State and went on to pilot F84Fs in the Strategic Air Command. He continued flying as a civilian pilot for 30 years. Ted was president of H. B. Frazer Company, founded by his grandfather in 1906. Ted was an active member of Federated Electrical Contractors, and National Electrical Contractors Association for many years. He was a member of The Union League of Philadelphia, St. Andrew’s Society of Philadelphia, and Board Chairman of St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children. An avid golfer, Ted was a long time member of Merion Golf Club in Ardmore, PA, and The Sonnenalp Club in Edwards, CO in his later years.
