Victoria L. Sullivan, 78 of West Chester, PA died Saturday November 25, 2023 at the Chester County Hospital in West Chester.
She was the wife of the late William J. Sullivan Sr.
Born September 5, 1945 in Glenn Mills, PA she was the daughter of the late Alfred Primaldi and the late Victoria T. Broccoli Primaldi.
Education was paramount to Victoria. Her thirst for knowledge led her to seek her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Immaculata University in 1994. She loved each and every moment of this journey.
Vicky has been a resident of Hickory House for several years and took part in as many activities as possible. She was considered the “resident mayor” serving as President of Resident Council. She was very active in their Activities program, Knitting Club, Gardening Club, played cards, Dominoes, and Scrabble regularly, and of course, was a Bingo champion. When visiting, it would be hard to track Vicky down, but the first place to check would be the Courtyard, as she loved being outside in the quiet sunshine amongst the flowers and songbirds.
Vicky was an amazing artist that loved to teach ceramics, porcelain and doll making. She also enjoyed sculpture, knitting and crochet – no project was too complicated for her to try. Her family and friends all have lasting mementos of Vicky’s talents. She also always enjoyed gardening and tending to the flowers.
Most of all, Victoria was a fierce warrior with unlimited resilience. She never complained regardless of how she felt. Her MS never slowed her down! Where there was a will, there was a way; she always embodied grace and spirit in all that she did. Vicky’s favorite saying was “I’m fine.” She truly believed that she WAS fine, and all was well. She lived her life in that very manner.
She is survived by her daughter, Tracy Ann (Ed) Gomez, son, William J. (Kathy) Sullivan, Jr., grandson, Alex (Katelyn) Gomez, grandson, Dylan (girlfriend Willow) Gomez, grandsons Edward and Cedric Akumiah, granddaughter Shuana, and sister, Barbara Taylor.
She was preceded in death by sister, Alfreda DiDonato, brother, Alfred J. Primaldi.
Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Saturday, December 9, 2023 from 10:00 am - 10:45 am at DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc. 410 North Church Street West Chester, PA 19380; followed by her Funeral Service at 11:00 am.
