Theodore Michael Duchak (Ted) of West Chester, PA passed away Wednesday April 21, 2021 at Chester County Hospital.
He was the beloved husband of Nanette Duea.
Born July 21, 1949 in Scranton, PA he was the son of the late Theodore Duchak and the late Anna Maslak Duchak.
Ted was a graduate of the Calhoon M. E. B. A. Engineering School in Baltimore, MD through which he became a licensed Merchant Marine Engineer and sailed the deep blue with Farrell Lines. He was also a skilled craftsman in many other trades. He was a master mechanic specializing in British motorcycles, bought and historically restored the Pocopson (PA) train station, was a skilled beekeeper and sold honey, worked as a cabinet maker and Japanese woodworker and finally as a grower of vegetables which he sold at his produce stand in West Chester.
He is survived by his wife, Nanette, brother Peter N. Duchak (wife Marlene), sisters Marcia Kroepil and Sandy Good as well as many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at 11:00 am at St. Agnes Church 233 W. Gay St. West Chester PA 19380. Interment will be immediately following in Birmingham-Lafayette Cemetery 1235 Birmingham Rd. West Chester PA.
