Teresa L. Scott

Teresa L. Scott, 63, of Swarthmore, formerly of West Chester, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 7th, 2021, surrounded by beloved family and friends.

Teresa was a graduate of Twin Valley High School, class of '75.  After attending travel school in Florida, she began her lively career as the head of the MBNA Travel Division, spending a decade touring the world. Teresa then pursued her true passion receiving her Associate Degree as a Veterinary Anesthesia Nurse at Ryan Veterinary Hospital at UPenn, where she later became the Anesthesia Nurse Supervisor, fulfilling her life's calling.  

Teresa was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend; and touched many lives in-between. She will be remembered not only for her strength and magnetism but her unwavering compassion.  

She is survived by her sisters (Kathryn) Lucille Fillman of Fruitland Park, FL, Connie Fillman of Reading, PA, Sheila Johnson of Conestoga, PA, and several nieces and nephews. Teresa is also preceded in death by her mother and father, Earl (Jerry) and Kathryn (Britton) Fillman.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
