Teodoro Rivera

Teodoro Rivera, 98 of West Chester, PA passed away peacefully on Friday May 2, 2025 at his home in West Chester.

He was the husband of the late Rose Rivera.

Born January 25, 1927 in Orocovis, Puerto Rico. He was the son of the late Jose Delfin Rivera and the late Carmen Rosado Rivera.

Upon arriving in the United States in 1947, he worked at Grocery Store Product and Star Roses. He then worked as a chef for the Farmer in the Dell in West Chester, until it closed. He also worked at Brandywine Maintenance for over 40 years. 

Teodoro was a devout member of St. Agnes Catholic Church. 

He enjoyed gardening and landscaping. He was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and loved western movies.

He is survived by his son, Jim (Mary Walsh) Rivera and daughter, Nancy Wolfe; granddaughter, Christina (Jared) Rardin, grandson, Zyde Christopher (Zara) Younossi, granddaughter, Zarah (Christopher) Sherman, granddaughter, Maria (Daniel Okren) Wolfe, grandson, Michael Alexander Rivera, grandson, James Lawrence Rivera, granddaughter, Grace Melinda Davis, granddaughter, Nina Elizabeth Davis, great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Liv, Kyce, Colton and Zaiden; he was one of 13siblings, survived by his brother, Enrique Rivera, brother, Pedro Rivera, brother, Tadeo Rivera, sister, Cecilia Rosado.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitations on Friday, May 9, 2025 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc. 410 North Church Street West Chester, PA 19380; and on Saturday, May 10, 2025 from 9:00am - 9:45 am at St. Agnes Church; 233 W. Gay St. West Chester, PA 19380; followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:00 am St. Agnes Church 233 W. Gay St. West Chester PA 19380 

Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery West Chester PA.
