Obituary

Mr. Steven J. Domenick, known affectionately to his friends and family as Steve, passed away on December 12, 2025, after a valiant battle with complications from a recent illness. Born on March 27, 1947, in Bryn Mawr, PA, Steve lived a life marked by dedication, love, and faith, residing in West Chester, PA leaving his friends and family at the age of 78.

Steve was graduate of Conestoga HS and earned a degree in architecture from Kansas State University.   He was a man whose hands were rarely still, working tirelessly in the construction industry before offering his skills to West Chester University in their Facilities Planning department. His work was not just a job but a testament to his belief in the value of hard work and the importance of creating enduring structures that could stand the test of time. His colleagues knew him as a man who could always be relied upon, not just for his expertise, but for his unwavering support and kindness.

As a devout Catholic, Steve's faith was the cornerstone of his existence. It guided his actions and gave him strength. His commitment to Saint Agnes Parish was evident in his involvement and the way he lived his life, embodying the love and grace that his faith taught. Steve's love for his family was unparalleled, and he considered their happiness and well-being his greatest achievement. He took immense pleasure in maintaining his home, a haven for his loved ones, and a testament to his handiness and attention to detail.

Those who had the pleasure of knowing Steve would describe him as kind, generous, and incredibly handy. He was a man who gave without expecting anything in return and found joy in the simple acts of helping others. His legacy is one of compassion and service, touching the lives of everyone he met.

Steve lived by his "To-Do List for Today; count my blessings, practice kindness, let go of what I can't control, listen to my heart, be productive yet calm, and just breathe".  His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have felt his kindness and warmth.

As we bid farewell to Mr. Steven J. Domenick, we celebrate a life that was filled with purpose and love. A life that was a true embodiment of the values he held dear. We take comfort in knowing that Steve has found peace and rest, and we are grateful for the time we were blessed to share with him. His memory will forever be cherished, and his impact will continue to be felt by all who were touched by his gentle, giving nature.

Steve was predeceased by his wife of 35 years, Beverly A. (Bolton) Domenick, and survived by his two sisters MaryAnne and Diana as well as his two sons Michael and Matthew.
