Stephanie Douglas Obituary

Stephanie Lee Douglas, 69 of Lionville, PA died Wednesday April 7, 2021 at her home in Lionville.  Born February 12, 1952 in Southfield, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Hubert Douglas and the late Joyce Catherine Timmons Douglas. Her family moved all over the world living in such places as Africa, Ethiopia, and Key West before setting in Chester County where she attended North Junior High and B. Reed Henderson High School.

Stephanie worked for over 20 years as a Senior Office Administrator for Edward Jones in West Chester, a job she truly enjoyed.  Stephanie loved to travel, making trips to Las Vegas, Atlantic City, and Cape Cod.  Her trip to the 2019 Rose Bowl fulfilled a life-long dream of seeing the parade live and working on the construction of a parade float which celebrated the 100-year anniversary of women’s voting rights.  Above all else, Stephanie enjoyed spending time with her great-nephews and great-nieces and was often seen attending multiple baseball/softball games on a busy spring Saturday. She was an avid dog lover adopting several rescues over the years and served on the board of her HOA.

She was preceded in death by her sisters Ronnie L. Pilotti, Melanie L. Douglas and brother Daryl F. Douglas.

She is survived by her nephews, Richard Pilotti, Kevin Pilotti, husband of Carly, and Michael Pilotti, husband of Susan, two grandnephews and two grandnieces, who affectionately referred to her as “GaGa.” Her family and friends will miss her greatly.

Services and interment will be private.
