Shirley Westwood Leary of Downingtown

Shirley Westwood Leary, 92 of Downingtown, PA, passed away Monday, April 9, 2018 at Simpson Meadows in Downingtown. 

She was the wife of the late Thomas Leary with whom she married in 1945.

Born July 16, 1925 in Bloomfield, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Alonzo Westwood and the late Eleanor Sigler Westwood.

Shirley graduated in 1943 from West Chester High School.

She worked for Glorick and Associates and enjoyed playing golf.

Shirley is survived by her nieces Patricia Westwood and Lori Mullin (Keith); nephews Robert Westwood, William Westwood (Sally) and Alonzo Westwood. 

She was preceded in death by her daughter Barbara Leary and brothers, Oliver, Alonzo, Delbert and Garnet. 

Relatives and Friends are invited to her visitation on Thursday, April 12, 2018 from 10:00-10:30am at the DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc., 410 N. Church St. West Chester, PA 19380, 610-696-1181, www.DellaFH.com; followed by her funeral service at 10:30am.         

Interment will be held in St. Agnes Cemetery, West Chester.
