Sharyn M. Chick

Sharyn M. Chick, 77, of Media, PA passed away Friday April 29, 2022 after a short but intense battle with cancer.  She was married to Marshall J. Chick for almost 57 years. 

Born September 12, 1944 in Augusta, GA to Carl and Clare Kronberg, she grew up in Poughkeepsie, NY.  Graduated from Hofstra University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, she used her degree to launch a career in marketing, climbing the ranks to become a senior marketing executive. Retiring to become a stay at home mom, she volunteered at every school that her daughter attended, including college,where she interviewed prospective candidates for entry. 

Sharyn is survived by her husband, Marshall J. Chick, daughter Deborah Terpstra, son-in-law Richard Terpstra, grandson, Mark Terpstra, sister Renee Weisman,  brother-in-law John Weisman, sister-in-law Marilyn Sternklar, brother-in-law Robert Chick, sister-in-law Joyce Chick, as well as her nieces, nephews, and cousins all of whom will miss her dearly.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clare and Carl Kronberg.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Friday, May 6, from 1:00 PM - 1:45pm followed by her Memorial Service at 2:00pm.  Services will be held at DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc. 410 North Church Street West Chester PA 19380. Interment will be private.
