Obituary

Roseanne M. Neill, 58 of West Chester, PA passed away Monday July 13, 2026 at Chester County Hospital in West Chester.

Born September 21, 1967 in Brooklyn, NY to Thomas and Joan Travers (Graham), she was the 4th of 6 children. In her young childhood, her parents moved the family to West Chester, PA where she grew up.  West Chester was the community she would call home for most of her life. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Economics from Immaculata University, laying the foundation for a career that would span more than three decades in the equipment finance and asset management industry.

Roseanne built a distinguished career defined by expertise, integrity, and quiet leadership. She began her professional journey at Tokai Financial Services before moving through progressively senior roles at KeyCorp, CoreStates Leasing, and American Business Leasing, developing a reputation as a skilled negotiator and meticulous evaluator of complex equipment portfolios worth hundreds of millions of dollars.

In 1999, Roseanne joined ThoughtWorks, where she spent nearly a decade as a Global Asset Manager and Project Manager, leading international teams across seven countries and working on assignments with major clients including IBM and Caterpillar Financial Services. Her work took her from Chicago to Nashville to Westchester County, NY, and reflected her talent for bringing order, efficiency, and cross-cultural collaboration to large, complex organizations.

She went on to serve in senior asset management roles at DLL, where she also contributed her expertise to the growing field of clean technology, helping to build and monitor a solar power portfolio exceeding 53 megawatts. She later held Vice President roles at BB&T Commercial Equipment Capital and M&T Bank before joining Hancock Whitney Equipment Finance, LLC in 2020, where she served as Director, Vice President of Asset Management until her passing. In recent years, Roseanne was also pursuing her Senior Appraiser Certification through the American Society of Appraisers, a testament to her enduring commitment to professional growth and excellence.

Roseanne was known for her generous spirit and her steady presence in service to others. For ten years, she volunteered with the Goshen Fire Companies at the Goshen Country Fair, assisting patrons with purchases and prize redemptions. She gave her time and heart to Women of Hope, delivering meals through Catholic Charities Services of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. And she found joy in music as a member of the West Chester Area Community Chorus, singing in the first alto section — a passion that reflected her warmth, discipline, and love of bringing people together.

Roseanne will be remembered as a woman of remarkable competence and compassion — someone who brought the same care and precision to her family and community that she brought to a thirty-year career built on trust and hard-earned expertise. She leaves behind a legacy of quiet dedication, generosity, and love.

As dedicated as she was to her career and community, Roseanne's heart belonged to her family. She was the devoted mother of Graham Neill, whom she loved fiercely and was immensely proud.

Roseanne enjoyed traveling, most recently visiting Rome, Italy with family this past Christmas; hosting, and spending time with her son, nieces and nephews, and dog, Ruby.

Roseanne is preceded in death by her father, Thomas Travers, and his mother, Margaret.

Roseanne is survived by her son, Graham S. Neill; mother, Joan Travers; siblings, Thomas (Debra) Travers, Edward (Nancy) Travers, Mary (Peter) Endrey, Margaret Travers and Gerard Travers. nieces and nephews; Jessica Travers, John (Melissa) Travers, Michael Travers, Gretchen (Daniel) Conte, Katie Travers, Matthew Travers, Sean Endrey, Steven Travers. 3 great nieces and nephews; Olivia Travers, Rhys Travers, Carmella Travers; former husband, Nelson Neill.
