Rosalina P. Vito

Rosalina P.  Vito, 102 years old, of West Chester, PA passed away Monday September 23, 2024 at Kendal at Longwood in Kennett Square.

She was the wife of the late James A. Vito.

Born July 16, 1922 in Downingtown, PA she was the daughter of the late Clemento Protasio and the late Carmella Delia Protasio.

Rosalina grew up in West Chester and graduated from St. Agnes High School. She worked as a hairdresser with her husband, James, at Vito’s Beauty Shoppe for many years.

She was a member of St. Agnes Church, The Italian Social Club and the Assumption Society.

Rosalina loved being with her family, cooking their favorite meals at family dinners and baking their favorite cookies.

She is survived by her son, James C. Vito (Marian), daughters, Patty Whitehead (Bill) and Marita Dell Aquila (Dave) along with her wonderful grandsons, Nathaniel and James Vito.

Rosalina was preceded in death by her loving husband, James and her beloved granddaughter Maria Whitehead.  

Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at 10:00 am at St. Agnes Church 233 W. Gay St. West Chester PA 19380.

Viewing and interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Duke Cancer Center, 20 Duke Medicine Circle, Durham, NC 27710 in memory of Maria Whitehead.
