Rosa T. Mallon of West Chester. 

Rosa T. Mallon, of West Chester, PA passed away peacefully on Wednesday April 27, 2022 at Barclay Friends in West Chester. It was her 96th birthday.

She was the wife of the late Joseph J. Mallon.

Born April 27, 1926 in Vienna Austria, she was the daughter of the late Josef Hoecht and the late Rosa Hoecht. She married Joseph in Austria by the end of WWII, after which she came to the USA . Rosa and Joe sponsored many family members and friends to help them come to this country.

Rosa was a parishioner of St. Agnes Church for many years. She was often seen dancing with her late husband, and they enjoyed bowling. The couple also traveled widely across the US & Europe. Rosa was known throughout the West Chester community for her stylish dress and her agreeable demeanor.

She is survived by her daughter, Rose Bard of Spring City, Tennessee, her two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, as well as her daughter Lorraine Mallon-Westerhold of Downingtown.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass on Wednesday May 4, 2022, at 11:00 AM at St. Agnes Church 233 W. Gay St. West Chester. Interment will take place immediately afterwards at St. Agnes Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Red Cross.
