He was the loving and devoted husband to Beverly Ferroni Giunta.
A lifetime resident of West Chester, PA. Bob was a successful entrepreneur, dabbling in real estate ventures and owning multiple businesses in and out of the West Chester borough. Two of his well-known businesses were The Pier 7 Bar and Restaurant which presided in the West Goshen Shopping Center and Bob Giunta’s Parkway Deli which was a long-time staple in the Parkway Shopping Center.
After stepping away from his entrepreneurial pursuits, Bob continued his commitment to community by joining the First National Bank of West Chester. Here, amidst familiar faces and lifelong friends, he kept busy while remaining an integral part of the fabric of West Chester until his “official” retirement in 2010.
Bob’s passion in life was for the “simple” joys. He found solace and delight in the warmth of Florida winters, treasuring every moment spent there with his wife Beverly and their friends. Summer vacations with his beloved family in Ocean City, New Jersey, held a special place in his heart, creating cherished memories that will endure through generations. A devoted sports fan to all of Philadelphia’s pro teams, he cheered with fervor, celebrating victories and enduring defeats with unwavering loyalty. His soul was uplifted by the timeless melodies of Frank Sinatra, each note carrying him to moments of bliss and reflection. Among his favorites, "My Way" resonated deeply, a poignant anthem echoing the essence of his journey through life.
Bob is a 1961 graduate of St. Agnes School and a 1965 graduate of Bishop Shanahan High School. He was a lifelong member of Saint Agnes Parish and will forever be remembered as a committed member of the Italian Social Club.
