Robert H. Burnett

Robert H. Burnett, 86 of West Chester, PA passed away Friday May 31, 2024 at Chester County Hospital.

He was a husband to Mary, father to Becky and Bobby, and Pop-pop to Laura Megan, and Garrett. 

Born January 21, 1938 in Lufkin, TX he was the son of the late Brady Mack Burnett and the late Linnie Estelle Watson.

He served in the United States Army from Oct 3, 1960 to October 2, 1966.

He worked as a Letter Carrier for USPS over 30 years in West Chester, PA, then retired and worked 20 years at Chester County Hospital. 

He enjoyed going to both granddaughters softball games, the Phillies, the Dallas Cowboys, and anything centered around family.

He is survived by his wife Anna Mary Burnett, daughter Rebecca H. Quinn (married to Daniel Quinn), son Robert H. Burnett, Jr.(married to Christine Burnett), grandchildren Laura, Megan, Garrett, and many loving nieces and nephews.

Preceded by all of his siblings: Johnny, Jimmie, Geneva, Linda, and Darlene. 

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Friday, June 14, 2024 from 9:00 am - 9:45 am at DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc. 410 North Church Street West Chester, PA 19380; followed by his Funeral Service at 10:00 am. Live Streaming will be available Here. 

Interment will be in Philadelphia Memorial Park Frazer, PA.
