Robert L. Brinton

Robert L. Brinton,  83 years old of West Chester, PA passed away December 16, 2025 at Merrill Gardens in West Chester.

Born January 12, 1942 in Bryn Mawr, PA he was the son of the late Joseph Brinton and the late Katharine Armstrong Brinton.

Robert grew up in Wayne, PA and graduated from Haverford High School, then attended West Chester University to obtain a degree and teaching certification in secondary English. He worked as an English teacher for 39 years at Henderson High School, where he also coached lacrosse, and announced at football games.

Lacrosse was his passion, and he received several Coach of the Year awards. He coached both at Pennsylvania University and at West Chester University. He also loved music, politics and reading.

He is survived by his wife, Helene Brinton, step son, Jamie Schemmer of West Chester, PA, step son, Daniel (Anna) Schemmer, daughter, Susan (Ferenc) Bakay, step daughter, Helene (Michael) McComsey, step daughter, Krista (Michael) Campagna.

Services and Interment will be private.
