Richard A. Looft

Richard A. Looft, 91 of Downingtown, PA passed away Wednesday June 2, 2021 at his home.

He was the husband of the late Esther Sipler Looft and the late Susanah Wilson Looft.

Born November 18, 1929 in Rome, NY he was the son of the late Arthur P. Looft and the late Ruth Scholl Looft.

Richard was a graduate of Wesley College where he met the love of his life, Esther.  

He worked as a Salesman for Upaco adhesives and was known for the lifelong relationships he formed with his customers.

Richard enjoyed traveling with his family, relaxing at the pool and watching the Phillies on the porch. Richard loved his family and watching his sons play sports throughout the years.

He is survived by his sons, Richard A. Looft, Jr. of West Chester, PA, Peter J. Looft of Downingtown, PA, William A. Looft of West Chester, PA; Elizabeth Looft of West Chester, PA, Denise Looft of West Chester PA; Stepson, Tom and Stepdaughter, Becky;along with grandchildren, Kelly, Patrick, Amy and Peter.

He was preceded in death by Esther S. Looft, Roger Looft, Linda J. Looft and Susanah Wilson Looft.

Services and Interment will be private.
