Rebecca S. Delphais

Rebecca S. “Becky” Delphais, 75 of West Chester, PA, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, March 23, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

She was the beloved wife of Frank C. Delphais Sr., with whom she shared 58 years of marriage

Born on June 3, 1949 to the late Curtis Simpson Sr. and the late Helen Hines Simpson, and raised by her grandparents, the late Hastings Hines Sr. and the late Olive Fisher Hines, Becky was a lifelong West Chester resident. She graduated from Henderson High School in 1967.

Becky dedicated her life to her family as a homemaker, finding her greatest joy in caring for her sons and grandsons. But her love extended far beyond her own family. A caretaker by nature, she was a second mother to many, who always knew they had a seat at her table, a place in her home, and a spot in her heart. Whether offering a warm meal or simply a space to feel safe and welcome, Becky took care of others without hesitation, making sure no one felt alone.

In addition to her husband, Becky is survived by her sons, Frank C. (Pamela) Delphais Jr. and Michael A. Delphais and her grandsons, Zachary Delphais and Matthew Delphais, all of West Chester. She is also survived by a sister, Barbara Simpson of West Chester and a brother, Terry (Nada) Simpson of Virginia.

She was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Eileen Gallagher Delphais and her siblings, Bonnie Santiago, Deborah Meredith, Donna Adams, Eugene Simpson and Leonard Simpson.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitations on Thursday, March 27, 2025 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc. 410 North Church Street West Chester, PA 19380, and on Friday, March 28, 2025 from 10:00 am -10:45 am at DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc.; 410 North Church Street West Chester, PA 19380; followed by her Funeral Service at 11:00 am.

Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, West Chester, PA.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital
