Pasquale Manes

Pasquale Manes, 91 of Newtown Square, PA  passed away Saturday May 25, 2024 at the Chester County Hospital in West Chester.

He was the husband of the late Rita Manes.

Born February 10,1933 in Montecilfone Italy, he was the son of the late Costanzo Manes and the late Cristina Meale Manes.

Pasquale grew up in Italy and came to the United States in 1954. 

He worked as a self-employed bricklayer for 35 years.

Pasquale was an active golf member at Kelly Greens County Club Fort Myers, FL where he spent his winter months for the past 25 years.

He enjoyed planting his vegetable garden, cooking for the family and playing bocce where he was always determined to win.

He also loved spending time with his family and was deemed the name “Legend” by his grandchildren.

He is survived by his daughter, Cristina Haly, son, Pasquale and his 7 grandchildren, Daniel, Andrew, Ryan, Thomas, Nicholas, Laura and Natalie, brother, Silvio (Nancy) Manes, sister, Carolina Manes Minchillo and sister-in-law, Nicolette Manes.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Giuseppe Manes and brother-in-law, Dominico Minchillo.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Monday, June 3, 2024, from 11:30 am - 12:15 pm at SS. Simon & Jude Church 8 Cavanaugh Court West Chester, PA 19382; followed by his Funeral Service at 12:30 pm.

Interment will be in SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery Springfield, PA.
