Norman W. Elliott
Norm to friends and family, he was a longtime resident of West Chester, an entertainer who played many greater Philadelphia Venues throughout much of his career as a jazz guitarist, he was well known throughout the area. His musical career spanned 70 years and took him from his humble beginnings playing on street corners in N. Plainfield New Jersey during the depression, to playing the big hotels in Las Vegas in the late fifties.
When his daughters were born, he and his wife Gini moved home to the West Chester area where he taught guitar to those willing to learn. He took a position in the mid 70s, at West Chester State College as an Audio Technician, stage manager and instrument maintenance and repair man.
