Neal Alan Stevenson

Neal Alan Stevenson, 40 of West Chester, PA passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at his childhood residence in West Chester.  

Born August 8, 1981 in West Chester, PA he was the son of the late Alan L. Stevenson and the late Carol B. Stevenson.  After graduating from West Chester East High School, he worked for UPS, and then as a Mechanic and Manager at Meineke.  Eventually he went on to follow in his father’s footsteps and got a job with Verizon working as a Field Technician.  He eventually left Verizon and started his career as a Technician with Comcast.

Neal was very intelligent and had a variety of interests.  He started taking karate lessons early in childhood and earned his black belt by the time he was sixteen.  He enjoyed the outdoors and spending time in the mountains of Pennsylvania (especially at camp with the guys), going to the beach, fishing, shooting at the range, cooking (using as many different spices as possible), working with his tools, and rooting for the Phillies.  

Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends, and the many different pets he had throughout his life.  Neal was a loving son, brother, father, friend, and fiancé who will always be remembered as an exceptionally fun loving, sensitive, kind-hearted, loyal, and patient man that was taken from us entirely too soon.

He is survived by his son, Tyler Stevenson, his fiancé Justine Jameson and her children Caleb Wright and Chloe Wright, his sister Dana (Stevenson) Mimm and spouse Donald Mimm, his brother Daniel Zukow and spouse Dee Zukow, his nieces Robin Wilcox and Jillian Zukow, and his nephew Benjamin Zukow; and his cats Mason, Gemma and Loki.
