Natalie Ruth Crist Radbill Obituary

Our beloved mother Natalie “Ruth” Crist Radbill, born July 10, 1929, aged 91, passed away peacefully the morning of July 15, 2020, graduating from this life to be with her Father, Savior and Holy Spirit in Heaven. 

A resident of West Chester, PA, she was the wife of Hugh Russell Radbill and daughter of Philip Harvey Crist and Natalie Isabel Crist, who preceded her in death, as did Hugh’s brother John R. Radbill. John R. Radbill is survived by his wife Natalie Radbill.

Ruth had 6 children, 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Ruth is survived by her children: sons; Roger Crist Radbill and Christopher Todd Radbill, daughters: Pamela Crist Radbill, Lindsey Crist Greenberg Serrate, Cynthia Alden Radbill, and Meredith Elizabeth Radbill who preceded her in death. 

Ruth is also survived by Christopher and Charlotte Radbill’s children Justin David Radbill, Hillary Gayle Radbill Hunter and Christopher Glenn Radbill. Roger and Debby’s daughter Natalie Radbill. Roger’s wife Debby preceded Ruth in her death. Pamela Radbill and Giorgio Kauten’s children Nikki Natalie Kauten, Joshua Francesco Kauten and Georgia Neve Kauten. Lindsey and Pete Serrate’s son Sean Michael Bishop (Ruth’s first grandchild),  and Eric Matthew Greenberg who preceded Ruth in death. Sean Michael Bishop is married to Julia DeNamur Bishop. Meredith Elizabeth Radbill’s and Stephen Acker’s daughter Odessa Elize Acker. In the next generation great granddaughter Savannah Love, daughter of Justin and Hillary and great grandson Niccolò Massimo Kauten son of Georgia Neve Kauten and Valerio Chessa.

Ruth was an accomplished culinary professor at Paul Smith’s College in upstate New York where she excelled in teaching chefs who perform their arts in restaurants around the world. Ruth’s students have been reaching out on social media with wonderful remembrances of their student experiences and dedicating their accomplishments to her. She was an American Nutrition educator, certified in culinary education, a lifestyle counselor; a licensed nutritionist and dietitian, New York; and member of Grantee National Institute of Food Industry, 1983, Faculty Research and Development Committee, 1989. 

God greatly blessed Ruth’s life through extended family, accomplishments, and her legacy. 

Relatives and friends are invited to her Graveside Service on Saturday July 18, 2020 at 11:00 am at St. Augustine Cemetery, 175 W. DeKalb Pike, King of Prussia, PA 19406.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to be made in “Memory of” Ruth Radbill to “Unite For Her” (uniteforher.org) a charitable organization whose mission is to enrich the health and well-being of those diagnosed with breast and ovarian cancers – for life- by funding and delivering integrative therapies.

Ruth our Mother will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
