Naomi R. Jennings

Naomi R. Jennings 81, of West Chester, died peacefully on February 15, 2008 at Simpson Meadows of Downingtown. She was the beloved wife of the late William Jennings.Born in Hamorton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Gorman and Avis Hamilton Hitchens Naomi was a secretary for 21 years retiring in 1991 from the West Chester Area School DistrictComing from Kennett Square, she lived in West Chester since 1954 and a member of the Italian Social Club of West Chester. She enjoyed reading, wonderword, playing cards and spending time with her family. She will be remembered for her kind heart, warm smile and for being the best mom and great friend.Naomi is survived by two daughters, Susan J. Bortree and her husband William, West Chester, Patricia J. Dale and her husband James, Downingtown, five grandchildren Jonathan and his wife Molly, Jennifer, Jacqueline, Ryan and Lauren, two great grandchildren, Shawn and Emily, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by he brother, John Hitchens, and sister, Edith Bemis.
