Nancy Ann Messner

Nancy Ann Messner, 67, of West Chester, PA, passed away on November 19th, 2024 in West Chester, PA.

Born July 25, 1957, in Ridley Park, PA, Nancy was the daughter of the late Joseph W. Marsich and the late Helen M. Piwowar Marsich. She grew up in Ridley Park and graduated from Ridley High School in Folsom, PA.

Nancy’s career began at the Philadelphia Shipyard, after which she took time to care for her family in Parkside, PA. She later moved to West Chester, where she worked as a mortgage loan processor. Throughout her life, Nancy enjoyed activities such as gardening, cleaning her immaculate home, shopping for the best deal and walking, finding joy in the simple pleasures of daily life.

Nancy is survived by her children, Meghan A. Leone (Kyle), Katie Anne Messner and Erin Ralph (Kevin); her beloved grandchildren, Grace, Charlotte, William, Emsley, RaeLynn, Peyton and Finnegan; and her siblings, Deborah Sweeney (Joe) and Gregory Marsich (Diane). She was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Marsich.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 from 10:00 am - 10:45 am at DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc. 410 North Church Street West Chester, PA 19380, followed by her Funeral Service at 11:00 am 

Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the University of Pennsylvania’s Penn Frontotemporal Degeneration (FTD) Center. Donations can be made on line or by check made out to the “Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania” with “Penn FTD Center” in the memo line.
