Myrtle C. Lynahan

Myrtle C. Lynahan, 96 of Newtown Square, PA died Monday April 8, 2019 at the Bryn Mawr Hospital.

She was the wife of the late Paul W. Lynahan.

Born February 22, 1923 in Ephrata, PA she was the daughter of the late Thomas Collier and the late Mabel McCrea Collier.

Myrtle worked in the accounting department for GE.

Myrtle was a member of the Valley Friends Meeting in Wayne. She was an avid Women's Rights Activist and enjoyed gardening and ornithology.

She is survived by her son, J. Paul Lynahan, and his wife Peggy, daughter, Margaret L. Moffitt, and her husband Paul, seven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Howard Collier and son-in-law Mathew McCue.  She was a loving mother who was devoted to and loved by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by daughter, Dorothy Patricia McCue.

Services and Interment will be private.
