Mondrae L. Kirn

Mondrae (Woodward) Kirn, 83 of West Chester, PA passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at Arbor Terrace Nursing facility in Exton, PA.

She was the wife of the late Harry C. Kirn, Jr.  Together they shared 58 years of marriage.

Born September 6, 1941 in West Chester, PA she was the daughter of the late Lois Keating Ivins and James H. Ivins.

Mondrae grew up in West Chester, PA and graduated from West Chester High School.

She was employed with National Liberty Insurance Company as an Underwriter, prior to her retirement in 2003.  Mondrae enjoyed her time at the beach basking in the sun at the ocean or the pool.

In addition to her husband, she was proceeded in death by her son Michael W. McVey, Sr. and brother Gary K. Woodward.  She is survived by sons, Harry C. Kirn III and Brian T. Kirn and daughters, Saundra McVey Stafford and Kathy Kirn Michaud; 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.  Mondrae is also survived by her loving niece and nephews, sisters-in-law and brother-in-law.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Friday, September 13, 2024 from 10:30 am – 11:15 am at DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc. 410 North Church Street West Chester, PA 19380, followed by her Funeral Service at 11:30 am. These will be shared services for both Mondrae and her late loving husband Harry C. Kirn, Jr.

Internment will be private.
