Michael A. Odorisio

Michael A. Odorisio, age 65, of Kennett Square, PA, passed away October 31, 2018, at home with his family in Chadds Ford, PA, after a long illness.  Born in Wilmington, DE, he was a son of the late Anthony J. and Erminia Ferraro Odorisio. 

Michael was a 1971 graduate of Oxnard High School in Oxnard, CA.  He was a longtime member of St. Patrick Church and, in recent years, he attended St. Cornelius Church with his children.  Michael was a manager for Kennett Square Specialties for many years, retiring in 2017.

Michael was a longtime Philadelphia sports fan and cherished spending time at his beach house and boating in Delaware.  He was a culinary genius who enjoyed shopping the 9th Street Italian market and cooking Sunday family dinners.  Most of all, Michael adored his family and spending time with his five grandchildren. 

Survivors include a daughter, Stephanie Arriviello (Chris); a son, Michael Odorisio (Rachael); a brother, Anthony Odorisio; three sisters, Mary Ann Riggins (James), Lori Odorisio and Melanie Davis (John), and five grandchildren, Nicholas, Christopher, Marilyn, Mariana and Mila.

An additional calling hour will be held on Monday, November 5, 2018 from 9 AM to 10:15 AM at St. Cornelius Catholic Church, 160 Ridge Road, Chadds Ford, PA, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM.  

Interment will be private.
