Obituary

Michael John Fahey, 75, of West Chester, PA passed away Tuesday June 25, 2024, at Arbor Terrace in Exton.

He was the devoted husband of the late Myrna I. Fahey.

Born June 30, 1948, Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late John Michael Fahey and the late Maryellen Hall Fahey.

Michael grew up in the Juniata Park section of Philadelphia, PA and graduated from North Catholic High School in 1966. He enjoyed playing sports and spending time with his many neighborhood friends.

He worked as a Dock Supervisor for A. Duie Pyle Trucking for many years till his retirement in 2010. 

Michael was a member of St. Agnes Church West Chester, PA and a lifelong, active member of the Catholic church.

He enjoyed gardening and taking care of his lawn, cheering on the Phillies and Eagles, reading John Grisham novels, going to the beach, especially the Jersey Shore, and most importantly, he loved spending time with his family, where he was most likely telling a story of some sort.

He is survived by his daughter, Nicole Marie (Lou) Voigt, daughter, Andrea Maria (Edward) Ryan; grandchildren, Addison, Chase, Gavin, Braden, Aubree, Carly and Olivia; sister, Alice (James Davis) Landenberger, and many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass on Monday, July 1, 2024, at 11 am at St. Agnes Church 233 W. Gay St. West Chester, PA 19380.

Interment will be private in All Souls Cemetery Coatesville, PA.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association
