Mary Constance "Connie" Evans

Mary Constance “Connie” Allen Evans, 93, of Newark DE, passed away on March 13, 2022 a the Christiana Care Hospice of Newark DE.

Born in West Chester, she was the daughter of the late George Yeagel Allen and Amy Ford Allen. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughters, Mary Constance “Conti” Evans, Georgeann Evans and her brother William Allen.

Mrs. Evans was a graduate of St. Agnes High School and the West Chester Business School, both of West Chester.

Connie retired from the Bucks County Area Agency on Aging in Doylestown. She was previously employed at the White Sands Proving Grounds in Las Cruces, NM and Children’s Services in West Chester.

She was a Girl Scout leader in West Chester for many years.

Connie is survived by her friend, Janet Skiba, cousins, Nancy (Ralph) Scherer, James (Lucy) Ford, Katherine Loro, Richard (Anne) Quillen, Donald Quillen and the James Hoban family.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass on Friday May 6, 2022 at 11:30 am at the St. Agnes Church 233 W. Gay St. West Chester, PA 19380. Interment will be at St. Agnes Cemetery.
