Obituary

Mary Belle Fabe (nee Stafford) was born on January 24, 1929 and went to meet the Lord on March 17, 2026. She was married for 65 years to Jack Fabe on September 20, 1951 until his death in 2019.  She was predeceased by her son John Frederick Fabe, her daughter Roberta “Bobbie” Kline and her sister Mildred “Millie” Ann Natale.

She is survived by her sister Edith “Pitsy” Hess, her son-in-law Rich Kline, her loving grandson, Christopher Fabe and his wife Hillary Fabe. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Rose Fabe and her granddaughters Denise Burgese (Lou), Deborah Thompson (Brian) and Danielle Jaszczak (Rob), as well as nieces Holly Davis (Glen) and Brenda Montague (John).

She was employed by Bell of Pennsylvania for over 40 years as a switchboard operator and trainer for other employees and was an active member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. She then worked for Ocean Holiday Cruises as a travel agent, as well as Holland America Cruise Line as a tour director.

Known affectionately as “Snookie”, she had a wonderful sense of humor and could be quite the spitfire. She loved to travel the world with Jack and they were able to visit many wonderful places.

We would like Mary Belle to be remembered as the kind, generous and incredibly sweet person that she always was and for all the good deeds that she performed in her lifetime.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Friday March 27, 2026, from 10-10:45am, followed by her Funeral Service at 11am. Interment will take place at the Philadelphia Memorial Park, Frazer, PA.

Donations can be made in her name to the Pennsylvania SPCA.

The Fabe family would like to extend our thanks to the wonderful team at Willow Tree Hospice for their amazing care and support.
