Mary Louise Denison

Mary Louise (Lou) Denison, 90 of West Chester, PA passed away Sunday July 14, 2024 at Sunrise Assisted Living of Westtown in West Chester.

She was the wife of the late Jack L. Denison.

Born March 25, 1934 in Philadelphia, PA she was the daughter of the late Charles Raymond Barr and the late Gladys Evelina Sloan Barr.

Lou grew up in Philadelphia, PA and graduated from Lankenau High School. She received her bachelor’s degree from Penn State University.

She worked in operations for First National Bank for many years.

Lou was a member of Advent Lutheran Church.

She enjoyed sewing, crafts, reading and her many pets over the years.

She is survived by her daughter, Karen (Timothy) Denison Barron, son, Jeffrey (Maureen) Denison, grandchildren, Christopher Denison, Jenifer Bustos (Jonathan), Jack Barron and Joshua Barron.

She was preceded in death by son, Scott C. Denison.

A private graveside service will be held on Monday, July 22, 2024 at Oaklands Cemetery 1042 Pottstown Pike West Chester PA 19380.

Interment will be in Oaklands Cemetery West Chester PA.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Brandywine Valley SPCA.
